ACT Conflict Resolution and the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce and Industry sign a Memorandum of Understanding for Arbitration and Mediation in commercial conflicts
ACT for Conflict Resolution association represented by its Chairman Eng. Samer Nusseibeh, and the Administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jerusalem represented by its Chairman Lawyer Kamal Obeidat, and in the presence of members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and its General Manager Mr. Louay Al-Hasani, signed on Tuesday an MoU between the two institutions for arbitration and mediation in commercial disputes in Jerusalem.
The head of the Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce, Lawyer Kamal Obeidat, said, “Going to arbitration to resolve commercial Conflicts in Jerusalem is the safest, fastest and best way to resolve commercial conflicts, and that the Chamber has set clear rules and foundations for arbitration to serve the commercial sector in Jerusalem.” Noting that a joint arbitration room will be established with the ACT Association for this purpose.
For his part, Eng. Samer Nusseibeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACT Conflict resolution and Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, stressed that the goal of arbitration and mediation is to facilitate the process of access to justice and achieve the common interest in providing a professional and specialized judicial alternative to settle commercial disputes within the Jerusalem community, and actively contribute to the development of the business sector.
