ACT Institution Holds Workshop to Present Mediation Manual for Gaza Lawyers
Jerusalem/Gaza – On Monday, March 9, 2026, the ACT Institution for Conflict Resolution held a specialized workshop to present the Mediation Manual developed by Mr. Mohammed Hadieh. The manual was created for the benefit of the "Insaaf" Legal Incubator – Gaza, targeting a group of Gaza-based lawyers who had previously undergone mediation training. The workshop aimed to enhance their practical mediation skills and empower them to transfer this knowledge by training new cohorts within the Gaza Strip.
The workshop focused on familiarizing participants with the manual’s content and practical applications. Designed as both a training and professional reference, the manual bridges the gap between theoretical frameworks and real-world implementation, supporting the continuous development of mediators' skills and promoting the use of mediation in conflict resolution.
This manual is the culmination of extensive professional and intellectual efforts by Mr. Mohammed Hadieh, an expert in mediation and conflict resolution. He developed this reference material to integrate academic grounding with field experience, meeting the specific needs of practitioners and bolstering the educational infrastructure in this field.
Participants emphasized the significance of the manual as a vital reference for standardizing concepts and improving professional performance. They noted that it provides a structured training methodology essential for mentoring new generations of mediators, ensuring the systematic and practical transfer of expertise.
This initiative is part of ACT Institution’s ongoing commitment to capacity building and knowledge exchange among practitioners across the Palestinian territories. By providing specialized reference tools, the institution continues to advance the field of mediation and strengthen its positive impact on society.
