ACT and the Regional Network Move Closer to Finalizing Regional Strategy on Combating Hate Speech

ACT and the Regional Network Move Closer to Finalizing Regional Strategy on Combating Hate Speech
16 August 2025

On August 15, 2025, ACT, in coordination with the Regional Network for Reconciliation and Forgiveness in the Arab Region, held the fifth session in its ongoing workshop series dedicated to dismantling hate speech and building inclusive narratives.

The session brought together 25 participants from across the region to discuss the vision and mission of the emerging regional strategy, refine key recommendations, and present the proposed goals and objectives based on the outcomes of previous workshops.

Participants engaged in practical discussions to identify concrete actions, clarify roles and responsibilities, and ensure alignment between the strategy's ambitions and the realities on the ground.

As this strategic process nears its conclusion, we look forward to welcoming participants to the sixth and final workshop on August 19, 2025, where the collective efforts will culminate in a comprehensive action plan—including clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and concrete steps forward for implementation.
