ACT Advances Regional Dialogue on Hate Speech with Third Workshop in Coordination with the Regional Network
On August 9, 2025, as part of the ongoing strategic partnership between ACT and the Regional Network for Reconciliation and Forgiveness in the Arab Region, the third session of the regional hate speech dismantling series was held. The session brought together members of the Regional Network alongside active civil society actors from across the Arab world, creating a dynamic and inclusive exchange.
The workshop focused on three core dimensions of combating hate speech:
- Educational and Pedagogical Approaches
- Legal and Legislative Frameworks
- Communication and Media Strategies
Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on practical tools and policy recommendations aimed at fostering inclusive dialogue, especially within educational institutions, media platforms, and legal frameworks.
This session is part of a series of workshops led by ACT, in coordination with the network, to develop a set of actionable, context-sensitive recommendations across the Arab region.
