 As part of the project to promote the role of mediation and arbitration in Jerusalem, which is implemented by ACT for Conflict Resolution with the support of the Suwaysiyah Program, the foundation implemented an awareness session at the Wadi Al-Joz Charitable Association in cooperation with the association and within the celebration activity that the Wadi Al-Joz Association implemented on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday.

During the symposium, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ekrima Sabri and lawyer Mohammed Hadiya spoke about the main risks that threaten the reality of civil peace within Palestinian society, most notably the rise in crime rates and the increase in cases of family disputes due to the rise in divorce rates, in addition to the deprivation of females of their inheritance rights and the phenomenon of the spread of weapons and drugs.

The speakers stressed the importance of resorting to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and the role of the Supreme Islamic Council, headed by His Eminence Dr. Ekrima Sabri, in the existence of a committee for the settlement of disputes within its working committees, as well as the Mediation and Arbitration Center affiliated with ACT for Conflict Resolution.
