ACT Conflict Resolution Signs an MOU with The Ministry of Justice

ACT Foundation for Conflict Resolution Signs with Ministry of Justice Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Cooperation

Ramallah/Palestine: The Ministry of Justice was represented by Minister A. ' Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalalada Memorandum of Understanding in the field of conflict resolution with ACT Foundation for Conflict Resolution represented by Prof. Mohammed Hadia.

Minister of Justice A. ' Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalalada said that the signing of this agreement is in the context of the Ministry's faith in developing and strengthening cooperation and partnership relations for positive cooperation that strengthens good governance mechanisms, the rule of law and capacity-building and the signing of the memorandum of understanding with ACT to promote joint and fruitful cooperation in legal work and access to a specialized environment for the use of alternative means of conflict resolution, The Ministry of Justice is keen to provide its services to all Palestinian citizens. Palestinian jurisdiction ", including Jerusalem citizens in areas where Palestinian jurisdiction is weakened by occupation.

For his part, Professor Mohammed Hadia thanked the Minister of Justice for his warm reception. He stressed that the signing of this Convention is part of strengthening the complementary role of the Government, represented by the Ministry of Justice, and those involved in the prevention and settlement of individual and collective disputes with a view to broadening the horizon of dialogue and communication as means of conflict resolution within the rule of law.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the Assistant Under-Secretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Abdelnasser Matar, the Director-General for Professional Affairs, Professor Maysa Hamarsha, the Legal Adviser, Omar Hajjawi, and Professor Mohammed Kusa, Director-General of the Minister's Cabinet.
