ACT organization for Dispute Resolution holds a course entitled Preparing and Qualifying Arbitrators with Arab and Local Participation

On Saturday, March 26, 2022, 30 participants from Palestine and the Arab world completed the first part, consisting of 12 training hours, with 60 training hours, from the program for preparing and qualifying arbitrators. It was supervised by the Almighty Professor Youssef Nasri from the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, in where he dealt with the legality of arbitration, its forms and types, the general principles of arbitration, the pillars and conditions for holding the arbitration, in addition to the characteristics of the arbitration agreement, and what distinguishes it from other means of dispute resolution. This combined the theoretical and practical framework to enable the participants to draft the arbitration agreement tightly. The first part ended with a workshop in which the famous Dr. Qadeer Muhammad from the Arab Republic of Egypt participated, during which he presented five practical arbitration cases that included a full review of all the contents of the first in its theoretical framework.

It should be noted that this course was organized in cooperation with the Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Jerusalem, the Sweida Arbitration Center - the Syrian Arab Republic, the Advisory Board for Arbitration and Legal Studies - the Kingdom of Morocco and the Palestinian Arbitrators Association, with the participation of a group of lecturers in the field of arbitration from Palestine and Arab countries.
